First Aid training for our staff

Thanks to True North Vrygrond who organised First Aid level 2 Training for the educare centres in the community. Nangamso and Juanita represented our school and attended the three day training course.
Both ladies enjoyed the experience. Nangi is seen bandaging her patient and Juanita is seen practising the CPR process on a dummy.

Heather Adonis and Lance Stemmet from Smart kingdom kids academy were here last week and would like to offer our Grade R learners a music experience using recorders.

Last week, we had quite some visitors again: Tim brought his two friends Martin and Juri from Germany to visit the school.
Christina brought her husband Andreas Kern along for a visit this time. Thanks to them for donating cosmetics, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toys and clothes.

Good morning and happy Monday from iThemba! Last week, we had to bid farewell Chris who has assisted us with so much during his short stay - thanks a lot, especially for supplying our kids with new tooth brushes, a donation by him, his friend Simon and other friends of him! He took care of our children's dental hygiene and he explains: “One big point on our daily agenda has been brushing teeth to keep the caries away. This has always been so much fun and its better to learn with a minty breath.” Thanks Chris for your support
