Discussing pollution

Thanks to the staff and our children for helping to prepare for our Food Fair last week :-) Lena, Sharon and Charmaine are seen preparing the meals.

Good morning everybody, we hope you are having a fabolous Monday morning! Already full in swing are Lena and Charmaine, they are doing some preparation work on the sweet baskets that we will be selling at our upcoming Food Fair on 3rd November here at school. Our children will add some colour to the baskets soon.

Good morning from iThemba! We have an update from our primary school construction site: Three classrooms are taking shape, a fire hydrant has been installed and community workers are busy laying the brick pavers at the back of the school! Have a look at the latest pics

Update iThemba primary school construction site

Update from the ongoing construction of the iThemba primary school: The landscaping is completed all way round at the back and alongside of the school!

Community workers also completed the roof trusses for classroom 3; another classroom has been painted and the fluorescent lights have been installed.

Finally, toilets and drainage pipes have been installed in the toilet and bathroom area.

Melanie from Lufthansa InTouch brought her two children Ben and Ella who enjoyed playing with our children while she took photos of the children for their Christmas boxes. Thanks to them for bringing our children a bag of fizzers :-)

Good morning GOOD HOPE FM is here at iThemba! Tune in at your radio station until 12pm today and listen to interviews with teachers, the school principle Veronica Nicholas and supporters.

Together, we hope to raise more awareness of the iThemba project and attract sponsorships to the production of the iThemba primary school.

Live Radio broadcasting this week here at iThemba! On Wednesday 27th, GOOD HOPE FM will visit our premises to raise more awareness of the iThemba project and attract possible sponsorships to the production of the new iThemba primary school! There will be also Performances, a jumping Castle and lunch for the kids provided by Pizza Shack...come by and support us if you have the chance

Good morning everyone :-) We have an update about the construction site of the iThemba primary school: The classrooms ceilings and entrance doors are 75% complete! The walls have been undercoated and still need the final coat. All wiring is completed, light sockets and wall plugs to be completed by the 3rd October. Find here some more impressions about the ongoing works.

Visitor time at iThemba! The Lufthansa InTouch Group Board Members, Erik, Tobias and Ulf came to visit the primary school site and our school last week! Ian and Melanie accompanied them. The children enjoyed having visitors and sang a few songs for them
